More protests in Venezuela. A statue of Chávez is set on fire.

Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans are expected to take to the streets today, January 23, in commemoration of the 61st anniversary of the military revolt that out an end to the regime of Marcos Pérez Jiménez.

Juan Guaidó, who was recently elected president of the National Assembly and who many countries, including the U. S., consider the legitimate president since January 10 when Maduro was sworn in for another 6 year term after elections that were not recognized by the opposition and the international community, has asked Venezuelans to unite and protest on Wednesday.
